Tired
We've been having a little tiff with the upstairs neighbors. A few weeks ago, the girl was pretty drunk and was yelling and stomping around until past 2:30 on a Thursday. Jeremy had to get up at 6, work a full day and then drive to Indiana to get the trailer so we could start Moving Weekend. He talked to her (in person), then when she started yelling again, filed a complaint with the Apt people. Yesterday we got a note on the door sometime in the evening that read:
Stop playing your music/ Surround sound so loud or we will call the Apts.
Thanks
Annoyed Neighbor!
I've always felt that, when complaining about noise, a knock on the door works best since everyone knows how loud the music is at that time and it get fixed much faster. We asked the downstairs neighbor about it, and they said that they hadn't heard anything, which makes us believe this is some kind of retaliation. The speakers have spikes on the bottom which attach them to the floor, so if anybody complained, it should be downstairs neighbors. It's kind of mean, but if I meet them (or her), I'd like to ask if she's the one that sounds like an elephant. When the one of them gets up at 2am every night for water and bathroom, they walk so heavily it wakes us up. The first week, I thought that they had put a bowling alley in up there, or that the elephants had already migrated.

Communicate your situation to Georgia. I think she is undergoing the same sort of relations with fellow apartment dwellers. Otherwise, to quote a friend, "Nail the b--s a-s to the door" But be nice, and document every move. Protect yourself and make friends with others. Also I am sure you do not play your surround sound at 2:30 am., though.
The elephants packed up their trunks and moved to Tennessee: http://www.elephants.com/
It's true, we don't play it at all hours. They upstairs guy seems nice- he says hi when you walk by him, she just walks faster. I feel kind of sorry for him if she goes into "bitch mode" like that.
Hmmmm, have a quiet little party and invite him but not her. Maybe he would open up if he had some friends to talk to.
How did you put your picture in there?
Oh, I was playing around with the profile on blogger, and found that I could put in a like to a picture for my profile. Try putting in this one for yours, Mom:
